The droopy look of his face was the result of a forceps accident at the time that he was born. The nerve of his head was damaged by the forceps accident. It resulted in a blurred speech. Stallone suffered through a turbulent childhood. Stallone and his younger brother, Frank, were adversely affected by their parents' violent relationship. It eventually ended in divorce. Stallone was being placed in foster care for a few in his first years. Stallone, aged five, was taken by his dad in Washington, D.C., and started his own beauty salon. Stallone was a resident of Maryland for several years, living with his dad following his divorce in 1957. Stallone was a troubled child, both academically and emotionally.
